MyGallery (mygallery.yourapps.co.za) helps you create private photo galleries, upload images, and share specific galleries with specific people.

Information we collect

• Account data: email address, optional display name.
• Content you upload: images you upload to the service.
• Sharing data: email addresses you enter when sharing a gallery.
• Technical data: basic server logs (e.g., IP address, user agent) for security and troubleshooting.

Google Photos connection (optional)

If you choose to connect Google Photos, MyGallery requests permission to read your Google Photos library in order to import images into your MyGallery account.

• We store an OAuth refresh token so we can continue imports you start. This token is stored encrypted at rest.
• Imported images are downloaded to this server and stored in your MyGallery galleries.
• You can disconnect Google Photos at any time, which removes the stored Google connection data from MyGallery.

How we use your information

• To provide login, gallery creation, uploads, and sharing.
• To keep your account secure and prevent abuse.
• To support imports you initiate (including Google Photos imports if connected).

Sharing and access

Your galleries are private by default. Only you and people you explicitly share with can access a shared gallery.

Data retention

We keep your account and uploaded/imported photos until you delete them or request account deletion, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Security

We use industry-standard protections such as hashed passwords and secure session handling. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your choices

• You can update your account information by contacting support.
• You can delete photos and galleries you created.
• You can disconnect Google Photos at any time if you connected it.
